Every year, heaps and heaps of cell phones, computers and other electronics are thrown in landfills. Don’t banish your old technology to the island of misfit toys! Instead, head to Whitman this Sunday and recycle your old electronics courtesy of Bethesda Green! The Montgomery County Division of Solid Waste Services will pick up all of the materials and either refurbish or recycle them.
So dig out that cell phone charger from 1999 and the camera collecting dust in the basement and help them find a new home! You can drop them off without even leaving the car, and all data will be destroyed for your protection.
